A backwards cap and fluorescent Nike’s have been her staples since she arrived in New York City. But it was her bling-laden wrists and fingers that Rihanna could not help but show off as she arrived at her hotel on Friday.

The 25-year-old star appears to be having the time of her life as she hits the East Coast for her Diamonds World Tour and had a huge smile on her make-up free face. The singer was casually chic in flattering black skinny jeans and a grey sweatshirt for her Big Apple outing.

A backwards black cap and a pair of fluorescent green and purple Nike Air Jordans added a boyish touch to her look, and she also toted a black Givenchy Antigona Madonna-print bag, worth a whopping $1,205. Rihanna’s hands and wrists were covered in chunky, bold jewellery and a long necklace with a heart pendant.

Despite rumors that Rihanna and Chris Brown have broken up, the on and off again duo were spotted together in West Hollywood doing a little shopping. Of course, Rihanna documented everything on her Instagram page.

Breezy and RiRi shopped at Wild Style by Joyrich and rode around in Brown’s Porsche convertible. Rihanna, 25, dressed up for the outing in a tight, yellow dress with a sexy cut-out back. Brown, 23, dressed casually in gray sweatpants, gray sweatshirt and backwards cap.

The “Diamonds” singer, donated $1.75 million to a Barbados hospital in memory of her late grandmother, Clara “Dolly” Braithwaite, who died in June. She visited the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Bridgetown along with her mother Monica Fenty and Dolly’s husband Lionel on Saturday, Dec. 22. In a statement to E! News, Rihanna said,

“This was my way of giving back to Barbados, in a form of philanthropy, by assisting the QEH in its continued modernization program … I believe that this will have a huge impact on the people of Barbados. This was all done to save lives or at least extend them.”

Her generous donation, which led to the radiotherapy department at the hospital to be renamed the Clara Braithwaite Centre for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine, has paid for vital pieces of medical equipment.

Rihanna broke the news of Gran Gran Dolly’s death on Twitter in July, writing, “Goodbye #grangranDOLLY get your beauty rest until I see you.”
