The eagerly awaited seventh album ‘Unapologetic’ is finally out and the main voice behind its production, Rihanna, was out on a seven country tour to promote it.

Dubbed the 777 tour, it saw the iconic singer and actress perform in seven countries round the world in an amazing seven nights. That is definitely a first in the music industry especially considering the long and tiring bus and plane rides. Regardless of the long and tiresome journeys Rihanna always managed to get the thousands of fans screaming and dancing to her beats.

As everyone usually is, I always eagerly waited to see what fashion ensemble she had on every night and fortunately she did not disappoint. For someone travelling to a new country every night she did look fresh and amazing.

Her vocal abilities were even more stunning than ever and I couldn’t resist the urge to sing along to every lyric. Along with her she also had three vocalists for the backup vocals. The end result as you might guess was pretty amazing. From the first show in Mexico City on 14th November to her last performance seven days later in New York it was a non-stop roller coaster of fun for many fans of her music. It was an unforgettable seven days.

The Diamonds tour kicks off in March 2013 and already the tickets are quickly selling.

It seems that the Barbados-born, 24 year old singer has yet much to offer to the music world.

She has been nominated for the best R&B singer category alongside other famous R&B singers such as Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Bruno Mars and usher. She seems to be up against some tough competition but considering that she took home last year’s award for the same category she might just do it again.

The nomination comes in the midst of a hustle of activity involving her latest album ‘Unapologetic’. The album, the seventh one since she started her music career in 2005 has already topped charts in ten countries around the world and is quickly becoming a global hit. Currently the Barbados-born singer has just concluded a seven day tour, dubbed 777, to promote the latest album.

The superstar is most famous for her single hits like ‘Love the way you lie’, ‘Only girl in the world’ and her most recent one, ‘Diamonds’. She has also starred in the popular action movie ‘Battleship’ for which she has also received several nominations in various other awards. Apart from music and the big screen, Rihanna, has also tried her hand on the fashion walkways, and is known to be a huge fan of binguez.

If she wins the January nine R&B category awards, it would be another big milestone for her. This year alone she has managed to release a hit single, an even more popular album and perform seven nights in a row in her 777 tour. She clearly deserves the award.

She landed in Berlin, where Brown was performing a concert for his own world tour, Carpe Diem. Rihanna and Brown went to a nightclub late Thursday after his show, where shutterbugs snapped the songstress downing shots. The rekindled couple later left in the same car.

R&B star Rihanna scored her 12th chart-topping single on the Billboard Hot 100 on Wednesday, as her seventh studio album “Unapologetic” raced toward a big debut after its release this week.

Rihanna’s “Diamonds,” the lead single from “Unapologetic,” notched the top spot on the Hot 100, tying the Barbadian singer with Madonna and The Supremes for the fourth-most chart-topping singles in Billboard history.
Only Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey and The Beatles have had more hit singles.
The 24-year-old singer has just wrapped up a seven-day mini-tour across seven world cities to promote “Unapologetic,” her seventh studio album, which was released on Monday and shot to the top of the iTunes album charts in 43 countries despite garnering mixed reviews.

Los Angeles – Rihanna has apologised to the 150 fans and journalists on her disastrous 777 Tour. The Diamonds hitmaker – who has been relying on a mixture of cough syrup and lozenges to keep her going during the whirlwind promotional trip for her new album Unapologetic – has admitted she struggled during the tour too and it was impossible to spend time with everyone but insisted she has no regrets.

The tour ended in New York on Tuesday after which she’s completed seven concerts in seven cities in seven days.Media members on the tour have been complaining all week about the poor conditions including a lack of food, sleep and extremely limited access to the singer for interviews.
